S4A AC90-245V Power Supply Controller with Built-in 2600mA Lithium Battery
S4A AC90–AC245V Power Supply Controller is a robust, all-in-one power solution engineered for access control systems (e.g., electric strikes, EL-600SD magnetic locks, S4A rfid card readers) and small industrial devices. Equipped with a built-in 2600mA lithium battery, it combines stable mains power support with reliable backup functionality, ideal for both indoor and semi-outdoor applications where power continuity is critical.
Core Specifications & Compatibility
-
Input Voltage Range: AC 90V–245V (wide voltage design, compatible with global mains standards—no need for voltage converters in most countries/regions)
-
Built-in Backup Battery: 2600mA high-density lithium battery (rechargeable, cycle life ≥ 500 times)
-
Output Options: Customizable DC 12V/24V (adjustable via a built-in toggle switch, matching different access control device requirements)
-
Working Temperature: -10°C to 55°C; Humidity: 10%–90% RH (non-condensing)
How It Works: Mains & Backup Power Dual Mode
1. Normal Operation (Mains Power Supply)
When connected to AC 90–245V mains power, the controller automatically converts alternating current to stable direct current (12V/24V) to power your access control devices. At the same time, it charges the built-in 2600mA lithium battery in trickle-charge mode—this prevents overcharging and extends battery lifespan.
In this mode, a green indicator light stays on, signaling that both the device and battery are operating normally.
2. Backup Mode (Battery Power Supply)
If mains power is interrupted (e.g., power outages, circuit failures), the controller switches to battery power seamlessly within 0.5 seconds—no downtime for your access control system. This ensures doors can still be unlocked/locked, and card readers remain functional when you need them most.
-
Backup Runtime: Depends on the connected device’s power consumption. For a typical 12V 300mA magnetic lock, the 2600mA battery supports continuous operation for 6–8 hours; for low-power devices (e.g., 12V 50mA card readers), runtime can extend to 30+ hours.
-
Low-Battery Alert: When the battery level drops below 20%, a red indicator light flashes to remind you to restore mains power or replace the battery (if needed).
3. Recharge & Recovery
Once mains power is restored, the controller automatically switches back to normal mode and recharges the battery. A full recharge takes approximately 4–6 hours, and the green indicator light stops flashing once the battery is fully charged.
