We have an S4A's Partner sent us this question.
"I am experiencing an issue where the lock functions normally via the physical handle, but fails to trigger for electronic methods. When using a password, fingerprint, or access card, the lock does not engage or disengage"
Since the manual key works, the mechanical part is fine. The issue where fingerprints/codes fail to
unlock is likely due to the clutch not engaging. Please try the following steps:
1: Replace the Batteries: Please use 3 brand-new high-quality alkaline batteries.
Sometimes low voltage can power the lights but cannot drive the internal motor.
2: Listen for the Motor: After a successful fingerprint scan, listen closely for a "whirring"
sound inside the lock. If there is no sound, the motor may not be receiving power.
3: Check Alignment: Slightly loosen the side fixing screw and ensure the cylinder is not
under physical tension or compressed too tightly against the door.
