Installation of Electromagnetic Lock

The magnetic lock produced by the principle of electromagnetism has the better advantages of traditional key locks and is safer and more reliable. So, how to install a magnetic lock correctly?

　　 The installation method of the magnetic lock will be introduced in detail below.

　　 Surface mounting method for door opening outside

　　The first step: first use a screwdriver to open the cover, and then use a hexagonal wrench to punch the side plate, ready to install

　　 Step 2: Take out the installation cardboard, fold the cardboard along the dotted line and place the cardboard on the position where you need to lock it, and then mark the place that needs to be punched and punch it.

　　The third step: A. After fixing the iron plate, insert the hexagon socket screw into the iron plate, place the rubber washer between the two metal washers, and then set the hexagon socket screw. Insert the iron plate into the three holes made in the door, and insert the mushroom head from the other side of the door at the same time, and lock the iron plate on the door with a hexagonal wrench. To fix the B sideboard, fix the sideboard on the previously punched door frame (fixed in the long hole of the sideboard) with two half-round head screws. Note: Do not lock the sideboard, so that it can move back and forth to facilitate the correction of the safety position. C. Correct the position of the side plate so that the position of the side plate and the relay plate is appropriate so that the main body of the lock can be in close contact with the relay plate. D Fix the main body of the lock and the side plate and tighten the half-round head screws of the side plate, then lock all the countersunk screws, and then remove the half-round head screws, and drill holes in the appropriate positions for wiring. Finally, use a hex wrench to lock the main body of the lock on the side plate.

　　Step 4: Follow the instructions in the manual to connect.

　　 Step 5: Cover the cover and insert the small aluminum cylinder into the screw hole of the lock body.

Installation Precautions

　　When installing the relay iron plate, do not lock it tightly, let it swing slightly to facilitate the natural combination with the main body of the lock.

　　Surface installation method of the opening door

　　Inside the opening door for surface installation, auxiliary accessories are needed to assist in the installation. We use decorative high-quality imported aluminum materials to make this installation accessory: Z&L bracket. Each set of Z&L bracket contains three pieces of aluminum fittings, of which the longer piece L1 is used for the main body of the lock; the other two shorter pieces Z2 and Z3 are used for the iron plate. Z2 is installed on the door, with five countersink holes on the side, which are used to fix the door; Z3 is used to fix the iron plate, with three holes on the side, the center hole should be the same as the center hole of the iron plate Aligned.

The installation method is described below.

　　A. Put the L1 bracket in the Z&L bracket on the lock position first and fix it on the door frame or wall with self-tapping screws.

　　B. Use a hexagon wrench to lock the main body of the lock on the L1 bracket.

　　C. Fix the Z2 bracket on the door corresponding to the position of the L1 bracket.

　　D. Insert the relay iron plate into the three holes of Z1 for false fixation and then close the door so that the magnet and the relay iron plate are closely matched to determine the connection position of Z1 and Z2. (The relative position of Z1 and Z2 can be adjusted according to the thickness of the door).

　　E. Lock Z1 and Z2, and then fix the relay iron plate to Z1 with M8*25 hexagon socket screws (thread the screws, iron plates, washers, and rubber washers in turn).

　　F. If it is a double door, you can use two Z&L brackets.

　　 Embedded (built-in) installation method

　　The internal opening door and the external opening door have the same embedded installation method

　　 For wooden doors, if the size of the door ribs is enough to bury the lock body, the installation is very simple. Just dig a suitable slot, lock the lock and lock the screw after it is buried, and the general construction staff will install it when the lock is seen. The frame of aluminum alloy doors is generally hollow. In view of this feature, we have designed two installation methods.

　　A. Lining woodblock method: Put a piece of wood of a suitable size in the door frame as a lining, and then lock the screws. This method is convenient to obtain materials and simple to install. This method is mostly used in the actual installation.

　　 B. Using the method of mounting accessories: This method uses the accessories we provide (four-hole iron plate + U-shaped iron) to make the installation easier.

Installation Precautions

　　 When doing the buried installation, be sure to pay attention to the size of the door ribs to be slightly larger than the size of the selected lock.

　　Glassdoor installation method

　　 1. Installation method of glass door with aluminum alloy (or other materials) cladding frame

For glass doors to be embedded in installation, EM-600 series magnetic door locks can generally be used. This is our company’s unique lock that is most suitable for installation on glass doors, regardless of whether your door is opened inward or outward or double-open. Both doors can be installed. The installation method is the same as the buried installation of ordinary doors.

　　★Precautions for installation

　　 The glass door needs to be equipped with an aluminum alloy frame. Because the lock and the distance are required to be less than 6 mm, the distance between the door edge and the door frame is required to be less than 6 mm. The floor spring must be of stable quality, otherwise, it will affect the lock positioning.

　　 Maintenance:

　　 The maintenance of magnetic door locks is relatively simple compared to other locks. As long as the surface of the iron plate and the lock body is kept free of impurities, please wipe the surface with a non-corrosive detergent regularly.
